    ITS FINALLY TIME…

We have waited so long for this opportunity!  Just a few more steps before we can get back to the diamond, but the approach is similar for both Baseball and Fastball.

Please read the following Return to Play Guidelines.  These guidelines are 100% mandatory and must be enforced.  There is an acknowledgement checkbox on this form that is required before the form can be submitted.

    ·        Safe Sport Return To Play Guidelines

Lambton Health Unit also has a self- assessment checklist through the Ontario Government that each participant is required to take before any activity. Click below to be redirected.

    ·        Self-Assessment Checklist

In addition to completing the registration form, reading the protocols, and completing a self assessment, there are several other steps to follow in order to Return to Play. These steps are outlined below:

    1.     You will need to register and create a log-in and password with Baseball Ontario’s ONDeck website or app.  The weblink is here https://ondeck.baseballontario.com/

…or you can download the app on your mobile device.

When prompted, enter “Western Counties Baseball” as your affiliate and enter “Corunna Minor Baseball” as your local association.

          2.    Proceed to “Return to Sport” and select “Waivers, Declarations, and Acknowledgements”.
                 In this section, complete:

    A)   the online version of “Child Participant – Parent Consent.”

    B)   the “Declaration of Compliance Covid-19” form

***These forms are available to download and print both from Baseball Ontario and CMAA website, however the preference is to register with ONDeck***

    3.    Finally, there are two forms you must print, complete, and bring with you to your first warmup session:

    A)   St. Clair Township Child/Youth Participant Form

    B)   St. Clair Township Declaration of Compliance Form
    C)
The Baseball Ontario Code of Conduct/Rowan's Law Acknowledgement

Note: Washrooms may or may not be opened during the warmup sessions. Please come prepared.

We are excited to bring these Warmup sessions to Corunna Giants baseball. To ensure the continuation of the program please follow all Return to Play rules and guidelines set out by Baseball Ontario/CMAA, Lambton Public Health & St Clair Township.

Lady Giants have also announced their warmup sessions.  Please see their announcement. Let's have fun and be safe.

    Disclaimer:

CMAA Boys Baseball Operations recognizes that not all families may be comfortable returning to play at this time. As an organization, it has been our intention to align our Boys Rep and Girls Select programs by holding fall tryouts for both groups each fall.  With the exception of our youngest division (9U), we are moving forward with fall tryouts for our Rep boys’ teams. At the discretion of the individual coach, a Rep coach may choose to hold a final spring tryout session if they feel their team will benefit from this action.  There is NO guarantee a spring final tryout will take place; however, if such a tryout is scheduled in the spring, only players who have registered with CMAA prior to the cut-off in their individual age divisions will be eligible to attend.
