River League Championships
The Year end Tournament is in Corunna on August 8,10,11...nothing scheduled for the 9th (yet)…(1 Thursday night game is at 8pm)
Payment is $350 and please make cheque out to Corunna Minor Athletic Association...and I need those sooner than later...Thanks to those that have submitted already.
We will separate into
A Pool -- Top
B Pool -- Bottom
It will be an OBA style double elimination. But I will try to incorporate a mini consolation round to ensure everyone plays at least 3 games.
Championship game for A Pool only will be a full 7 inning game
I appreciate every team is trying to make up the rained out games...thank you...In the event, and this is likely, we cannot make up games, I will score those games as Ties....if that severely changes the landscape of the top 6, I will use the runs for and against to make an informed decision on who the top 6 teams truly are and separate accordingly....
There will be a BBQ/Concession stand open Saturday and Sunday at CAP. Although we are using all Corunna diamonds, I have made sure each team is playing at CAP to receive a meal.
Every player and coach will be fed 1 meal for the tourney. There will be tickets in your welcome package that is redeemable for a dog or burger/chip/drink.
A lot of open poorly shaded area so I suggest if you have pop ups to bring them.
Let's hope Mother Nature lets us play
