Extra Info for the Junior Rookies, Senior Rookies and our U10 Girls!
ATTENTION ALL ROOKIE AGED PARTICIPANTS

At every Registration there are always questions about what League to sign your 2010 player.  Here is a quick breakdown of CMAA's leagues for the upcoming season.

All Sr. Rookie aged Girls born in 2010 - 2011 are eligible to register for our U10 Division should they choose to play in our Girls League.  They need not register for Boys first.  This includes all girls that played in junior rookie in previous years.

Our 2019 season will again host an inner House League for the Jr Rookie aged players. That is any boy or girl born in 2012-13. The Jr. Rookies will play 1 day per week and amongst each other only.

During the past 2 seasons, Corunna Minor has also fielded an IN-HOUSE SR. ROOKIE League (2010-2011).  The league worked very smoothly and had pros and cons voiced from many parents. For several years previous, we nominally entered these teams into the Western County River League.  One reason was to help the separation between JR and SR Rookie and also to better prepare 2nd year players entering the Mosquito Division the following year.

For 2019, we are excited to try to place these teams back into the River League to compete against other House League teams from other down river centres.  In River League, most teams will play a Home and Home vs the other centres of Western Counties. There will be 1 or sometimes (rarely) 2 games per week with a practice.

Clearly we will take some time making a final decision on our Sr. Rookies and in the meantime please fill out our POLL that is shown on the right-hand side our webpage to give us a better understanding of our participants' wishes.  The information gathered will help in our decision making process.

**PLEASE NOTE**  None of this will affect any player that tries out and is rostered to our REP Rookie team.

As always, please direct all registration questions to our Registrar.    [email protected]
