2019 or 2020

T-Ball Instructional ideal for those young players who are learning to play baseball.
This is a mixed league of boys & girls. Games are played Saturday mornings in Corunna at CAP.  No Travel

Corunna Minor Baseball does provide a $50.00 rebate for those families registering 3 or more players. See details in payment section. This choice can only be used on one player's registration. 

   

*Batting helmets are mandatory for all age groups.

Volunteering

Corunna Minor Baseball can not exist for the children in our community without volunteers. Please consider being a volunteer for this and many seasons to come.

NEW Volunteer Hours

CMAA will be implementing a Volunteer Hours Program in 2024 that will include a $200 Post dated cheque

Our organization runs successfully on volunteers, and we need you. To offer these community programs at such a minimal cost, it is imperative to have your support and help.

All parents/guardians will be required to complete:

4 Hours per player, OR 6 hours per family of 2+players. 

Upon completion of these hours your cheque will be returned, if the hours are not completed your cheque will be cashed.


We will provide you with more details once registration is complete, including when the $200.00 post dated to September 1, 2024, cheques are due and how we will be collecting them.


CMAA will setup an online platform soon where you can sign up for your volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer opportunities include but not limited to: 

·       Coaching & Team staff (up to 4 total including Head Coach)

Note Game changer, scorekeeping and pitch counts are considered team responsibilities and will NOT be recognized as volunteer hours.

·       Off Season Clinic Support

·       Executive Board Members

·       Mid Season & Year End Tournaments

o   Runners

o   Diamond maintenance & more

·       Fundraising Events

o   Captain Kidd servers

By completing this form, you are registering with both Corunna Minor Athletic Association (CMAA) and Baseball Ontario. 

Baseball Ontario appoints CMAA to collect fees on its behalf, included in the registration fee collected through this process. No additional monies is charged to the parent registering locally. Baseball Ontario invoices CMAA for fees collected.

On behalf of myself and the player being registered, I recognize that baseball entails serious risks. Consequently, except as noted below, I and the player being registered relinquish all rights to a claim of any kind, including the right to a claim for bodily and material damages, regardless of the cause, against Baseball Ontario, its member associations, including Corunna Minor Athletic Association (CMAA) and their respective officers, employees, coaches, umpires, assignees, agents, representatives, and sponsors, even if such damages result from negligence of Baseball Ontario, its member associations, including CMAA and their respective officers, employees, coaches, umpires, assignees, agents, representatives, and sponsors.

Without restricting the generality of the preceding, I and the player being registered also relinquish the right to any claim against Baseball Ontario, its member associations, including CMAA and their respective officers, employees, coaches, umpires, assignees, agents, representatives, and sponsors resulting from a decision on their part, regardless of the nature of this decision.

This release of Baseball Ontario, CMAA and the other persons noted above does not preclude myself or the player being registered from making a claim under any sports accident coverage provided by Baseball Ontario and/or CMAA to their players.  An overview of the current sports accident coverage provided by Baseball Ontario can be found by clicking HERE!.

Refund Policy:

Refunds:
If your child requires a refund prior to February 1, 2024 you will receive a full (100%)  refund minus a $5.00 processing fee

If your child requires a refund after uniforms are ordered on February 2 to May 13, 2024 you will receive 30% of the registration fee minus  a $5.00 processing fee.

After May 13th, refunds will be discussed on an individual basis.

Refunds must be accompanied by a Request for Refund Form, a $5.00 processing fee will be charged and all refunds will be made through PayPal.

Photo Consent:

I authorize Corunna Minor Baseball Association (CMAA)  and/or its staff, associates, assistants, or subcontractors to use photograph(s), video and other media image provided for any CMAA  promotional, educational or other pertinent uses. I also agree to CMAA  using any images of the named minor(s) gathered by photographers, and or videographers supplying images to CMAA .

These images may include, but are not exclusive to, club, coach, athlete and/or parent, and/or volunteer submissions by various member associations of CMAA

I authorize CMAA  to permit the use and display of photographs and/or recordings of the named minors in any CMAA  publication, multimedia production, including video and web usage, display, or advertisement.

I agree that CMAA may use name, likeness, or information supplied by the undersigned.

The undersigned releases and forever discharges CMAA and its officers and employees from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of said photographs / recordings, including but not limited to, any claims for invasion of privacy or defamation.

Rowan’s Law:

Under Rowan's Law, before any player can be registered with the local association and Baseball Ontario, the player, and the parent or legal guardian of the player if the player is under 18 years of age, must review one of the Concussion Education Resources provided by the Province of Ontario and must review the Player Code of Conduct. Rowan's Law Acknowledgement:

I hereby confirm that the player being registered to participate in baseball activities with the local association and Baseball Ontario, and the parent or legal guardian of the player being registered if the player is under 18 years of age, have reviewed one of the concussion education resources provided by the Province of Ontario as referenced above and have reviewed the player code of conduct as referenced above. I / we further acknowledge understanding the nature and risk of concussion and head injury to athletes, including the risks of continuing to play after a concussion or head injury is suspected.
