Volunteer Role: T-Ball Director


Season Duration:

Approximately- Last Saturday in May –Saturday Early August


Position Summary:

The T-Ball Director oversees the organization and smooth operation of the T-Ball division. This role involves coordinating teams, coaches, schedules, and communication to ensure a fun and well-run season for players and families.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team & Coach Coordination:

    • Create balanced teams based on registration.
    • Assign volunteer coaches to each team.
  • Scheduling:

    • Develop and distribute the season schedule, including weekly games and practices.
    • Organize the year-end games and celebration.
  • Communication:

    • Act as the main point of contact for parents and coaches.
    • Send updates regarding photos, coach uniform and equipment distribution, schedule changes, rainouts, and other important notices.
  • Season Oversight:

    • Monitor weekly games to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
    • Support coaches with resources and guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and families.
  • Comfortable using email and basic scheduling tools.
  • Passion for youth sports and community engagement.

Time Commitment:

  • Estimated 2 hours per week during the season.
  • Additional time in May for team creation and schedule planning.
  • Attend Monthly board meetings.
