Sr. Rookie Riverleague #1, 2015, HL (Corunna Minor Baseball)

We Played with 9 but came up big. The call-ups from the Jr. Rookie League are really contributing, both in the field and with their bats.  Several really solid defensive plays, including a double play, held the opponent to just 1 run. Great game boys! Coach Ed

The boys played a great game tonight. We had lost a few valuable players for the remainder of the season and needed help from the farm team (Jr. Rookie). Our three new players up from the farm are Ewan Snedden, Lucas Hanniman, and Brody Manley. The boys played a great game and held on to an 11 to 11 tie against Corunna #3.

The game this Friday night in Alvinston has been cancelled and we will try to reschedule. There will still be practice this Saturday morning at 9:00 AM. Thanks, Coach Ed

Great Game Boys! Despite only having 7 players, yes we need players, the boys hit the cover off the ball tonight. We only had two outfielders and no back catcher. Kayden caught for us just to speed up the game but he wasn't allowed to make outs or bat. The infield played tough and kept most of the hit balls from reaching the outfield.

Good game tonight everyone. We were shorthanded and only played with 9 but managed to get another win, 19 to 6. A big thanks to Daniel for stepping in from Jr. Rookie and playing for us. He went 4 for 4 with 3 RBIs. Also a big night for Jude who also went 4 for 4. Keep practicing and keep playing hard but, most importantly keep having fun! Coach Ed
